Digital Underwater Photography

The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly, whether you use a point-and-shoot camera or a sophisticated dSLR like the pros.

What do I need to start?

  • Minimum 12 year old
  • Minimum Open Water Diver Certification

What will I do?

This program is designed to enhance your skills in underwater photography and teach you the basics of capturing great images underwater. You will learn the fundamentals of good photography then apply that knowledge during 2 training dives. You will also learn the basics of photo editing and how to handle your digital files.

How long will it take?

Generally the course is run over 1 day, with 2 boat dives.

What will I need?

  • PADI Digital Photography Manual (supplied by us)
  • Dive medical questionnaire
  • Towel, sunscreen and swimmers

What will it cost?

Total price for the course is $295, includes all tuition, gear hire, PADI Manual, white balance slate, double boat dive, camera use (if required), all practical training and PADI Underwater Photographer Certification card.
