Drift Diver Specialty Course

Strong currents can either be the undoing of a great dive or the making of one! Drift diving can be relaxing and exhilarating. The course teaches you how to enjoy going with the flow as you scuba dive down rivers and use ocean currents to glide along.

What do I need to start?

  • Minimum 12 year old
  • Minimum Open Water Diver Certification

What will I do?

You will learn about preparation, equipment and techniques used in drift dives and practice these techniques on drift boat dives.

How long will it take?

Generally the course is run over 1 day, on 2 actual drift boat dives.

What will I need?

  • PADI Drift Diver Manual (supplied by us)
  • Dive medical questionnaire
  • Towel, sunscreen and swimmers

What will it cost?

Total price for the course is $295, includes all tuition, gear hire, PADI Manual, double boat dive, all practical training and PADI Drif Diver Certification card.
